Job summary

A leading furniture wholesaler and retailer in Malaysia is looking for a Logistics Planner to work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor. Responsibilities include organizing delivery schedules, ensuring payment collection, and preparing logistics reports. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, a diploma or equivalent, and be fluent in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia. This position requires a positive working attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in logistics is required.
• Well-planned with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Warehouse Supervisor to arrange the Delivery out Schedule.
• Call customers to arrange Delivery out Schedule.
• Ensure balance payment is collected before delivery.
• Analyze distribution process and suggest improvements.
• Prepare logistics reports for Senior Decision Makers.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Warehouse Supervisor to arrange the Delivery out Schedule.
• Call customer to arrange Delivery out Schedule.
• Ensure balance payment is collected before delivery or notify driver if cash on delivery.
• Attend to customers’ feedback of product issue after delivery/ assembly is completed by lorry driver/assembler.
• Generate Picking & Loading list.
• Other tasks as assigned time to time.
• Determine the Size and Scope of Projects.
• Analyze distribution process and make improvement suggestions as necessary.
• Prepare and deliver logistics reports to Senior Decision Makers.

Qualifications

• Proses a positive working attitude, willing to learn, problem solving and a good team player.
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in others or equivalent.
• Required language(s) : English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Logistic Planner
• Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail, ability to priorities and manage expectations
