Job summary
A leading energy company is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia for a 2-year contract on a Biofuel project. Responsibilities include overseeing warehouse operations, managing inventory control, and ensuring timely distribution of materials. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in warehouse management and be proficient in Mandarin for effective communication. This role requires problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Min. 12 years experience in warehouse management.
- Experience in refinery construction projects, ideally greenfield.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Oversee efficient warehouse operations for the project.
- Manage inventory control and ensure timely distribution.
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular audits.
Skills
We are looking for a WAREHOUSE MANAGER to work in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia for 2 years contract on a Biofuel project.
- To oversee the efficient operation of the warehouse / material for the project.
- To manage inventory control, logistics and ensuring timely and accurate distribution of material for the project.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records
- Work closely with logistics partners to optimize delivery schedules
- Resolve transportation and distribution issues promptly
- Conduct regular safety check.
- Min. 12 years experience in warehouse management
- Must have experience in refinery construction project ideally greenfield project.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics
- Problem solver and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Successful candidate is expected to communicate effectively and to liaise both in writing and speaking to Chinese clients/contractors who uses Mandarin as their main language for business level communication
- Able to start work within short notice preferred.
