Accountabilities

• Conduct security control assessments of information systems to evaluate their effectiveness.

• Manage the assessment schedule and task assignments to the security assessment leads.
• Conduct kick-off and summary briefings for security assessments.
• Analyze and document vulnerabilities and findings from security assessments.
• Engage with various teams to gather necessary documentation and support for assessments.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in security programs or 5 years with a master’s degree.
• 5 years of experience in auditing and/or assessments.
• Proficient in NIST Cybersecurity Framework and related publications.
• Strong knowledge of security assessment methodologies and documentation.
• Experienced with NIST 800-53 and 800-53A standards.
• Expertise in privacy impact assessments and risk assessments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in using security assessment tools such as Nessus and Splunk.
