Engineering BIM Modeller in Our Remote Team

Discipline: Mechanical or Electrical

• Mechanical: Model and draft mechanical HVAC service using Autodesk Revit (supply, return, exhaust, relief, outside air, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, cooling towers, refrigerant piping, hydronic systems, etc.). Interpret load calculations and schematics provided by engineers. Estimate duct sizes from velocity/CFM and understand pressure drop. Estimate pipe sizes based on flow rates.

• Electrical: Model and draft electrical services using Autodesk Revit (lighting, power and communications, security, dry fire, reticulation). Interpret load schedules, single line diagrams, and markups provided by engineers. Interpret switchboard and distribution layouts. Understand basic cable sizing and voltage drop allowances.

• Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere with full support from the Australian team via Microsoft Teams.

• Software Provided: Licenses for Revit and other required software.

• At least 3 years of Autodesk Revit (MEP) experience, specifically in mechanical or electrical systems.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, mechanical or electrical.

• Exceptional English communication skills for seamless interaction within our global team.

• Strong understanding of building services for various building types: townhouses, houses, apartments, aged-care, student accommodations, commercial factories, offices and hotels.

• You must have a computer workstation that meets the required Revit-capable specifications.

• Experience handling multiple ongoing, complex projects while successfully meeting requirements.

• Projects run on fast-paced timelines, so strong time management is essential to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently.

• A desire to continue development in the Revit/BIM Design package space.

• Impeccable attention to detail, judgement, and integrity.
