Job summary
A food service company in Malacca is seeking a candidate to implement and maintain the Halal management system. This role includes conducting internal audits, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with Halal standards. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Food Technology or related fields and possess strong documentation and auditing skills. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 0-2 years working experience in Halal certification or quality assurance.
- Knowledge of Halal standards (JAKIM / MS 1500).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Halal management system according to relevant standards.
- Conduct internal Halal audits and inspections.
- Liaise with suppliers and relevant departments for Halal compliance.
- Train staff on Halal procedures and awareness.
