Qualifications

Job description

Conduct research & development for new and existing products.

Ensure all products and processes comply with Halal requirements.

Prepare, maintain, and update Halal documentation and certification.

Conduct internal audits and inspections for Halal compliance.

Liaise with suppliers, production, and relevant departments for Halal and R&D matters.

Assist during Halal certification audits and maintain records.

Develop product formulations, conduct testing, and recommend improvements.

Train staff on Halal procedures and product handling as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Halal Studies, or related field.

0–3 years working experience in R&D, Halal compliance, or related field (Fresh Graduates encouraged to apply).

Knowledge of Halal standards (JAKIM / MS 1500) is an advantage.

Strong analytical, documentation, and auditing skills.

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
