A reputable manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to oversee incoming material inspections, conduct in-process checks, and verify finished goods quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance processes and strong analytical skills. You will be responsible for maintaining records, managing compliance with standards, and ensuring products meet customer requirements. 🔹 Hiring Location: 16,Jalan Temenggong 2, Lorong 1, Kawasan Perindustrian Temenggong, 81100 JB Johor
🔹 Salary Range: RM2,300 - RM2,800 (5.5 working days)
Monday - Friday : 8.30am - 5.30pm
Saturday : 8.30am - 3.15pm
* Break time 12.30pm - 2.15pm is on Friday and 12.30pm -1.30pm on other days.
🔹 OT (it depends on the situation) : rate 1.5 (Normal day) , rate 2.0 (P.H / Sunday / Rest day)
Inspect and verify the quality of incoming raw materials such as kraft paper, glue, and printing ink.
Ensure materials meet specification before releasing to production.
Conduct regular inspections during production, including flute strength, board thickness, moisture level, and adhesion.
Check printing quality, die‑cut accuracy, slotting, folding, and gluing processes.
Ensure machines are producing according to job order specifications.
Verify the final carton dimensions, strength, appearance, barcode accuracy, printing alignment, and overall workmanship.
Ensure finished products meet customer requirements and internal standards before delivery.
Perform carton testing such as bursting strength, edge crush test (ECT), bending resistance, and drop test.
Maintain proper records of test results.
Record inspection results, non‑conformity reports (NCR), and daily QC reports.
Maintain traceability and ensure all QC documents are updated.
Identify defects and coordinate with production for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Follow up on rework and ensure defects are resolved.
Ensure products comply with company SOP, customer specifications, and quality standards (e.g., ISO requirements).
Participate in internal audits when required.
Work closely with production, planning, and sales departments to address quality matters.
Communicate clearly on quality alerts, product issues, and inspection requirements.
Maintain cleanliness in the QC area and ensure safe working practices.
