Job summary

A leading quality management organization in Johor Bahru is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead all quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in quality assurance or control, preferably in manufacturing. Responsibilities include overseeing quality functions, managing the Quality Management System, and conducting internal audits. We are seeking an experiencedQuality Managerto lead and manage all QA activities.

Location: Senai
Industry: Plastic Injection Moulding

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all quality functions, including incoming, in-process, outgoing, and supplier quality.

Manage and maintain the Quality Management System, including documentation control.

Support customers on all quality-related matters and requirements.

Handle customer complaints and ensure effective corrective actions.

Conduct quality meetings to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform failure analysis and troubleshoot quality issues and rejects.

Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.

Coordinate purge and quarantine activities for nonconforming products.

Provide training on QWI (Quality Work Instructions) and other quality-related topics.

Review and improve QWI procedures when necessary.

Ensure adherence to work instructions and product specifications.

Prepare and approve Certificates of Conformance (COC) for customer shipments.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.

Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, standards, and documentation.

Experience in handling customer complaints and driving corrective actions.

Knowledge of internal audits, failure analysis, and quality troubleshooting
