A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior Engineer in Quality Assurance to ensure exceptional production standards. The role includes developing quality control systems, collaborating with operations, and providing technical expertise. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards. As manufacturing quality is responsible for determining production standards for a company’s products by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules.
Develop and implement any required quality control policies, procedures, specifications, forms, checklists, reports, etc., for services, incoming material, and factory assembly, testing and shipping.
Collaborating with operations and engineering teams to develop and implement controls and improvements.
Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team.
Provides technical and regulatory expertise for a range of quality assurance testing and inspection activities associated with product development and manufacturing.
Monitoring, analyzing and report quality relate key performance indicators.
Performs internal audits of the operation process using inspection results and statistical techniques to provide timely, accurate process and product analysis and determines proper corrective and preventive action.
Lead on Quality incident 8D. Investigate quality problems by reviewing quality trends, tracking the root cause(s) of the problem(s), coordinating corrective actions and implanting appropriate adjustments. Resolve inquires to satisfaction in a professional, timely manner, responding verbally and/or in writing.
Implement preventive actions to reduce and/or prevent quality problems.
REQUIRED:
Degree in Quality, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
Minimum 3 years working experience in Quality Assurance.
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
Strong knowledge of relevant quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes.
ISO 9001 and statistical methods and techniques.
PREFERRED:
Certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Six Sigma is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it.
Knowledge of quality systems and measurement.
Knowledge of TS16949 and ISO9000.
8D Problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of SPC, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, APQP, PAPP, FMEA and Six Sigma
