Job summary
A leading online booking platform in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a software developer to participate in the full software development life cycle. The role requires at least 3 years of experience with .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, and MYSQL. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work under deadlines are essential. The ideal candidate should also possess knowledge in Object-Oriented Design and SDLC methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web application development with .NET technologies.
- Experience with .NET Core and microservices is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Object‑Oriented Design methodology.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the software development life cycle from gathering to support.
- Ensure software quality in functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Conduct research on new technologies.

- Participate in the software development life cycle, handling requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support.
- Ensure software quality in terms of functionality, reliability, performance, security and ease of maintenance.
- Diagnose issues and perform bug fixes.
- Conduct research on new technologies.
- Prepare technical documents.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in web application development with .NET technologies.
- Required skills: C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, Web Service (SOAP, REST, WCF), MYSQL.
- Experience with .NET Core and microservices is an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in Object‑Oriented Design methodology and design patterns; able to perform application design using OOAD independently.
- Experience in the full SDLC cycle in actual project implementation.
- Experience with source control systems such as TortoiseSVN and VisualSVN.
- Proficient English communication skills (both spoken and written).
- Positive, hardworking attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team, with self‑initiative.
