Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Security Engineer to support our sales team and drive customer success in the Japanese market. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cyber exposure, vulnerability management, and cloud security, and who enjoys working in a customer-facing, technical advisory capacity.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor, demonstrating how our cybersecurity solutions help organizations understand and reduce cyber risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers and prospects in Japan
• Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs)
• Support the sales team by addressing technical queries and differentiating solutions
• Assess customer security challenges and recommend tailored solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success)

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Native-level or business-fluent Japanese (JLPT N1/N2 or equivalent)
• Business-level English proficiency
• 4+ years of experience in a security-related technical role (Security Engineer / Pre-Sales)
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, network security (TCP/IP), and operating systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and results-driven mindset

Nice to Have

• Cloud security knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with Network Product (io, security center)
• DevOps, automation, or scripting experience (API, Python)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CIS, etc.)
