Job summary

NETWORK ENGINEER (L2 SUPPORT) – 24/7 SHIFT | CISCO / JUNIPER | IMMEDIATE HIRING

We are hiring an experienced Network Engineer to manage, support, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. This role involves configuration, monitoring, and incident resolution for routers, switches, and IP networks. Candidates with strong routing/switching knowledge and ISP or telco experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

Configure, install, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and IP network equipment.

Provide Level 2 network support for incident troubleshooting, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.

Monitor network performance and resolve complex connectivity, routing, and switching issues.

Coordinate with vendors, customers, and service providers to resolve network-related problems.

Conduct network testing, verification, and change implementation following SOPs.

Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, diagrams, and change records.

Support network operations within a 24/7 rotational shift environment.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field.

3–5 years’ experience in network engineering, network operations, or infrastructure support.

Strong technical skills in:

Routing protocols: Static, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

Switching technologies: VLAN, Spanning Tree (STP)

Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper network devices (advantage).

Experience working with ISP / Telco / NOC environments (added advantage).

Certifications such as CCNP are preferred.

Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work under pressure, reliable, flexible, and adaptable.
