Job summary
A construction company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage financial aspects, estimate costs, and assist in project planning. This role welcomes fresh graduates and offers growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, be able to work independently, and communicate effectively in multiple languages including Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Quantity Survey.
- Able to work independently with efficient task management.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English.
Responsibilities
- Prepare progress claims and payment certificates.
- Accurately estimate costs of labor, materials, and machinery.
- Develop cost plans and cash flow projections.
- Liaise with sub-contractors for contract coordination.
- Prepare tender documents and bills of quantities.

We are looking suitable candidates for both locations: Johor Bahru (JB) / Kuala Lumpur (KL)
Financial Management: Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, variation orders, and final accounts.
Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate the quantity and costs of labor, materials, and machinery.
Project Planning: Develop cost plans, estimates, and cash flow projections to ensure project success.
Contract Coordination: Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors on contract matters, ensuring smooth project execution.
Tender Preparation: Prepare tendering documents, measurements, and bills of quantities.
Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
