Job description

Design, develop and extend new features on existing system (Web and Mobile applications) based on business requirement.

Configure, build/modify, and test the application or technology architecture components and its functions.

Write effective APIs and maintain them.

Conduct thorough problem analysis regarding technical systems and application programs, document findings and propose problem resolution alternatives, and maintain current working knowledge of the system.

Collaborate with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the new features meet business requirements and performance goals.

Write and maintain the relevant documentation.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent.

A passion for writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well.

At least 2 years of software development experience in PHP and MySQL/MSSQL.

Strong knowledge and skills in CodeIgniter framework or any PHP framework (MVC).

Familiar with JSON concepts and REST APIs.

Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools (Git/Git e.g.) and of developing web services.

Have a positive attitude with a genuine desire to learn, share knowledge with others and move forward in career.

Knowledge of Apache / IIS web server.

Knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.

Knowledge of mobile app development technologies like Ionic, React, Angular for Android/iOS applications.

Work based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.
