Job summary
A leading engineering company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking candidates for its Graduate Trainee Program (GeT). This 9-12 month program offers training and hands-on experience, essential for building a successful career in civil engineering. Responsibilities include assisting in project monitoring, preparing reports, and supporting quality control. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring project progress and addressing potential issues.
- Support Project Planner in preparing progress reports.
- Assist in planning and executing routine maintenance works.
- Support quality control activities to meet standards.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on claims and payment processes.
- Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and safety regulations.

- Assist in monitoring project progress and proactively addressing potential issues.
- Support the Project Planner in compiling work programs and preparing progress reports for submission to clients.
- Assist the Maintenance Engineer in planning and executing routine maintenance works and traffic management plans at site, as outlined in the Service Level Agreements (SLA), including the preparation of Notices of Defects (NOD).
- Support quality control activities to ensure all requirements and standards are met.
- Assist the Contract & Claims Unit in tracking, analysing, and reporting on all claims and payment processes to the Project Manager.
- Maintain a high level of compliance with the company’s established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and security regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or any related course.
