What you do

As Motherboard Design Engineer at OnLogic you develop our company’s own motherboards. You take the new products through a rigorous validation and testing process to make sure they conform to the specification. You solve engineering challenges.

This is what your day looks like. You:

• Develop hardware, including circuit schematic design & PCB layout for highly reliable Intel x86, AMD, and ARM based products for industrial applications. Hardware development is based on set engineering methods; you also improve these methods when needed.
• Perform electrical testing, test new products, and solve problems where required.
• Manage the technical side of motherboard developments in-house.
• Manage project schedules and continuous improvement for product designs.
• Mentor and guide other Electrical Engineers & PCB Layout Designers.
• Work with Supply Chain team and Contract Manufacturers to build prototypes. Cooperate with Product Management and other teams to identify and evaluate new circuitry and products.
• Establish and maintain all needed documentation, such as block diagrams, checklists, manuals, BOMs, test plans.
• Join in improvement activities to make sure we make products of superior quality.
• Develop test specification and test scripts in cooperation with internal stakeholders and the Contract Manufacturer (CM).

Engineering: Our Engineering team creates our cutting edge industrial computers by finding innovative solutions on a daily basis. The Engineering team\'s success relies on collaboration, creative thinking and a commitment to being at the forefront of technology. Roles on our Engineering team include, Electrical, Mechanical, Applications and Regulatory.

• You have a Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering
• You have 8+ years experience designing electrical circuits, created for high speed, preferably in the Intel x86 or ARM space.
• You have attention to detail and a focus on quality. You are organized, and you have very good analytical and problem solving skills.
• You must possess strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Satisfactory completion of a background check

A self-motivated Motherboard Design Engineer who can work independently and who takes action without being asked. You work best in a high-energy, fast growing industrial computer environment. You like solving problems and you want to learn more. You speak and write English at a professional level. You have experience with design of X86 or ARM based motherboards, ideally for industrial applications.

The salary range for this role is MYR200,000~MYR250,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles. Besides a base salary we will offer you a comprehensive Benefits package which includes:
