Designation: Security Specialist - Global Technology Services
Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in security engineering and customer-facing roles. Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft security and compliance solutions.

Shifts: The resource may need to work flexible hours to provide extended support and be available on call when required.
Role
The Security Specialist will be part of the GTS team and report to the Security Delivery Lead at vCyberiz. The primary function is to own and collaborate with the team in delivering and supporting security solutions based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Microsoft M365 Security and Compliance Solutions.
- Implement security solutions for internal and external customers, e.g., MS Purview, Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, Office, Endpoint, Intune, etc.
- Monitor system resources and resolve issues related to security alerts, events, and incidents.
- Develop technical documents based on incidents and assist SMEs during problem resolution.
- Troubleshoot security-related service issues and conduct after-action reviews.
- Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Access Management.
Requirements
- Experience in designing, implementing, supporting, troubleshooting, and delivering security solutions such as:
- M365 Security and Compliance solutions
- Defender for Endpoint (with Intune)
- Azure Cloud Purview (MIP/AIP/DLP)
- Entra ID
Bonus Skills: Workplace setup/migration to Microsoft ecosystem, Azure Arc for hybrid/multi-cloud management.
Key Skillsets & Experiences
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting at least two of the above solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft solutions for global customers.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of Security Operations and Service Delivery.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI compliance, and related practices.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts simply.
- Exposure to ITIL processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in deploying Microsoft security solutions.
- Technical certifications such as SC-100, SC-400, SC-200, AZ-900 (mandatory).
Skills And Abilities
- Proficiency in English and cross-cultural communication; additional languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud security concepts and tools.
- Ability to articulate objectives and work with various teams and customers.
- Team player, quick learner, proactive in sharing best practices.
- Willingness to work extended hours during incidents.
