Job summary
A leading agricultural company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated individual to supervise field operations and manage estate administration. This role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture with at least 2 years of experience in a plantation environment. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a positive working attitude. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to operational management while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in plantation environment.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise field operations.
- Assist in estate operational management.
- Manage store, machinery, and tools.
Skills
Education
- To monitor and provide supervision to ensure smooth running field operations.
- Assist in supervising daily operation, field maintenance and nursery management.
- Assist in estate operational management including utilization of human capital and materials, reduce and mitigate the pests and disease attack in plantation.
- To manage store (fertilizer, chemicals, POL, etc), machinery, and other tools.
- To support estate administration in ensuring that all activities are in compliance with MSPO & OSH requirements.
- Any other tasks as assigned by superior.
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/ Plantation or any relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in plantation environment.
- Possess positive working attitude, hardworking and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Display a high degree of accuracy, attention to details and the discipline to follow up outstanding matters.
- Detail-oriented, good interpersonal skills, team player and possesses self-initiative.
- Able to engage in a professional and collaborative manner with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Independent, meticulous and possess good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork, leadership, people management, responsibility and trustworthiness.
