What we’re looking for:
In our next phase of growth we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Collections Agent to join our finance team. If you are a dedicated professional with an understanding of billing and collection processes and a passion for accuracy and efficiency, we would love for you to join our team. As an Collections Agent at Tarro, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of incoming payments from our clients and customers. You will work closely with the accounting team to maintain financial records, resolve payment discrepancies, and provide outstanding customer service. Your contributions will directly impact our financial stability and customer relationships
What you’ll accomplish:
You will monitor customers’ account balances for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
You will follow up with customers on payment status and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
You will be responsible for deposits of collections into the Company’s bank account
You will help with inbound/outbound calls, interact with clients professionally to resolve any billing inquiries and discrepancies.
You will work with other departments regarding status change, special requests and promotions.
You will assist in the preparation of invoices for clients on a monthly basis.
You will need to prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to accounts receivables.
You will maintain organized and up to date records of all financial transactions.
About you:
You have a SPM / Diploma/Bachelor Degree
You are bilingual in Mandarin and English
You are willing to work US hours (night shift) as our customers are based in US
You have strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
You have a positive attitude, is independent, self-motivated and results-oriented
Bonus points:
You have previous experience in billing and collection or a similar role
You have a good understanding of accounting principles and its application
You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer.
You have knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
You have a roll up your sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.
