A financial services company is seeking a proactive Senior Account Executive in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves managing daily accounting operations, assisting with month-end and year-end processes, and ensuring compliance across multiple entities. Candidates must have a degree in Accounting, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in Excel and accounting systems. Responsibilities
- Assist in month-end/year-end closing, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.
- Manage AR/AP functions and support daily finance and accounting operations.
- Handle accounting for multiple entities and ensure proper intercompany reconciliations.
- Support statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare cash flow reports, forecasts, and contribute to budgeting processes.

About the Role: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to join our accounting team.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance — across multiple group entities.
This is a great opportunity to deepen your accounting skills, contribute to process improvements, and work closely with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in month-end/year-end closing, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.
