Job description

Responsibilities

• Enforce company disciplinary rules and code of business conduct
• Managing the in-house clinics operation
• Develop and execute Industrial Nurse programs
• Provide routine and emergency medical treatment and counseling support
• Provide and organize health education and wellness programs
• Employee’s health monitoring and evaluation
• Managing resources effectively – Cost VS Budget
• Participate actively in Company’s EHS Steering council, emergency and disaster drills
• Managing referral letters and issuance of guarantee letter
• Verifying medical bills and managing employee’s medical claims
• Assist employee in Socso and insurance claims
• Periodical review with clinics, hospitals and insurance agent on better terms and package
• Send or accompany employee in ambulance to hospital as and when required
• Prepare monthly report on employee’s MC rate and carry out improvement programs for high MC takers
• On call and support, if required, during off-working hour
• In compliance with occupational health’s legal and other requirement and support audits carry out by related government bodies and customers
• Carry out regular hygiene inspections on Company’s facilities to ensure safe, clean and conducive working conditions
• To perform other duties as assigned by Immediate Superior

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Nursing or equivalent
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaker may be considered
• Preferably Executive specialized in Health and Safety or equivalent
• Must have someone with experience from industry either Electronic Manufacturing or others industry will be considered too
• Registered Nurse – Registration with Malaysian Nursing Board
• Proactive, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision
• BLS / ACLS and Valid Annual Practicing Certificate
• Knowledge in Medical related Acts, Health and Safety practices
• MS Office proficiency i.e Excel, Words and Power point
