Supervised the sourcing of insurance backup solutions aligned with Business Development (BD) requests, including negotiation with insurers to secure the most suitable terms.
Conducted periodic reviews of Terms and Conditions (TC) to ensure alignment with current market conditions.
Performed risk analysis and assessment for items to be insured, ensuring proper coverage and minimal exposure.
Analyzed policy clauses to verify compliance with requested terms, ensuring accuracy and adequacy of received policies.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities for more comprehensive product development.
Evaluated claim trends and their impact on insurance proposals, contributing to strategic pricing and coverage decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance placement in the insurance broker industry.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, and coordinate team efforts to achieve departmental goals and project deadlines.
Strong understanding of insurance products, policy wording, and risk assessment frameworks.
In-depth understanding of various insurance coverages across multiple product lines (e.g., property, liability, marine, engineering, etc.).
Proven experience in negotiating with insurers and securing favorable terms and conditions.
Ability to analyze policy clauses and assess alignment with business requirements.
Solid knowledge of market trends, insurance regulations, and claim analytics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify insights for strategic decision-making.
Experience in cross-functional collaboration for product or service development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
