About This Role
The Business Development Sr. Manager – Resilience & Sustainability plays a dual role in advancing ChildFund’s sustainability and resilience agenda in Asia: as both a driver of business development and a contributor to technical thought leadership. The position will lead and support resource mobilization efforts across Country Offices (COs), working closely with global, regional, and country teams to identify funding opportunities, cultivate donor relationships, and strengthen the organization’s visibility and competitiveness in the development landscape. A key aspect of the role includes integrating sponsorship programming and diversifying funding streams through strategic partnerships.
Equally important, the Sr. Manager will help shape and articulate ChildFund’s vision for resilience and sustainability by translating technical priorities into compelling, fundable initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Global Sustainability Senior Technical Advisor, this role will ensure that program designs reflect cutting-edge, innovative approaches to environmental resilience, sustainable systems, and community-led adaptation — particularly in ways that benefit children and youth.
With a strong emphasis on innovation and scalability, the Sr. Manager will support both single-country and multi-country proposal development, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and positioning ChildFund as a leader in this space. The role will also help forge creative partnerships that unlock new pathways for scaling impactful solutions — enabling children, youth, and nature to thrive in the face of growing environmental challenges.
This is a full-time, regional global position with a fixed term of 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Native or fluent proficiency with English is required. Candidates must have current work authorization in India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand or the Philippines, and proximity to a ChildFund country office. Please note that pay is in local currency.
