Role Purpose
- Analyze network operational KPIs to detect degradation or anomaly patterns by correlating data across multiple network domains (RAN, Transport, Core, FTTH, etc.).
- Perform root‑cause and impact analysis by correlating alarm, performance, and configuration data to identify the underlying source of network issues.
- Perform descriptive and diagnostic analytics to support the Network Operation team in performance monitoring and issue identification.
- Manage the full lifecycle of analytics insight generation, from hypothesis design to validation and post‑implementation tracking.
- Assist in the implementation or conduct ad‑hoc analysis for advanced analytics initiatives using linear and nonlinear regression.
- Build interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to visualize end‑to‑end operational performance up to customer experience level.
- Present insights through clear, data‑driven storytelling for management and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Support data quality and governance efforts to ensure data integrity and reliability (>99%) through validation checks, reconciliation, and alignment with governance standards.
- Collaborate closely with Network Operation, Data Engineering, and AI teams to identify, design, and develop new analytics use cases.
- Continuously enhance analytical models’ linear regression and nonlinear regression, visualization standards, and automation frameworks to improve insight accuracy and operational efficiency.
Job Description
- Contribute to the development and execution of ad‑hoc analytics initiatives for Network Operation to enhance decision‑making and operational efficiency.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process automation, improvement, and cost efficiency through advanced analytics.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable strategies to improve network reliability, customer experience, and operational responsiveness.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement frameworks, ensuring analytical models and dashboards evolve with business needs.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with domain SMEs, Data Engineers, and platform teams to translate operational requirements into data‑driven improvements and analytical solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Network Operation or IOH functions) and external partners (Managed Service or Technology Vendors) to identify operational pain points that can be addressed through analytics and visualization solutions.
- Partner with Data Governance and Management Reporting units to ensure consistency in metrics, data definitions, and reporting standards.
- Participate in cross‑functional review meetings to present findings, recommendations, and analytics outcomes.
Deliverables
The key results/output of the position are as follows:
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau or other business intelligent tools) to visualize end‑to‑end operational performance up to customer experience level.
- Generate data insights, reports, and trend analysis to support proactive fault detection and performance optimization.
- Deliver advanced data analytics to support preventive maintenance and network stability initiatives.
- Ensure all analytical outputs meet data accuracy, validation, and timeliness standards (\u003e99% integrity).
Qualification
- Educational Background :
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent related field.
- Certifications (advantageous but not strictly mandatory):
- Tableau Desktop Specialist / Certified Data Analyst
- Google Data Analytics or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Python for Data Science (Coursera, edX, or equivalent)
- Telecommunication KPI or OSS Analytics related certification
Experience
- Minimum 3–6 years of working experience in Network Operation, Performance Analytics, or Data Analytics environment within the telecommunication industry
- Business Process Management:
- Proven track record in analyzing and optimizing business processes, translating pain points into technical solutions.
- Hands‑on experience developing use cases, roadmaps, and technology adoption frameworks.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Experience working closely with Data and Analytics team, Cloud Architect, Domain SME, and cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Exposure to managing technology‑driven change and transformation projects.
- Data‑Driven & Analytics Governance: Demonstrated understanding of data governance principles, data ethics, and responsible use of advanced analytics in operational decision‑making.
Skills
- Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, machine learning) and advanced Tableau (this is a must)
- Experience in data processing, automation scripting, and dashboard development.
- Proven ability to design complex interactive dashboards, advanced calculations, parameters, and storytelling features in Tableau.
- Understanding of advanced analytics techniques using linear and non‑linear regression models for network performance analysis.
- Knowledge of telecom network KPIs (RAN, Core, Transport, FTTH) and cross‑domain correlation analysis such as (KQI, CEI and QOE).
