Job description

Account Executives drive sustainable revenue growth by developing merchant business. They build relationships, provide consultative solutions, onboard new merchants, and address their needs. They identify business opportunities, monitor market trends, support local sales, and ensure smooth administrative processes, while continuously developing their skills.

What Will You Do
  • Actively relate to Leads provided through Motion Standard and Virtual Engagement.
  • Routinely conduct business review sessions and proactively provide solutions to merchants in order to grow their business through a consultative selling motion.
  • Determine the problems faced by merchants and help solve them, including those related to merchant spending, troubleshooting, document changes or adding new outlets, entities or brands.
  • Actively observe competitor movements and market movements.
  • Actively penetrate their areas by onboarding new merchants and always observing the area through canvassing days.
  • Actively support the city's focus projects (Merchant Partnership, Assortment, etc).
  • Ensure the submission and administration process (advertisements, promotions, changes to agreements, additional outlets) are on time, including handling complaints from merchants and submitting to ASM and seeking assistance from the right PIC.
  • Routinely attend training, socialize new products and develop skills.
What Will You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 2 years relevant experience with preferable industries: top 5 FMCG/Telecommunication/Tech company and preferably has spent significant time (>1 year) in representative area and has strong network and knowledge about the region will be a plus.
  • Good business sense and have good understanding of the markets, customers, and competitors.
  • Has existing relationship or able to bridge, develop, and maintain good relationship with key partner.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fact-based/number-oriented individual and able to interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Willing to be placed anywhere in GoTo area of operations.
About the Team

Account Executive (AE) will work as a team within a certain district and closely collaborate with the Merchant Engagement and Sales Support teams. Ideally, an AE regularly visits assigned merchants to see what really happened on the ground as well as provide necessary advice to them in increasing transactions over time.
