Unison Ltd is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the production team responsible for building all-electric tube bending machines. This role offers a supportive working environment, on-site parking, opportunities for further training and career development, and competitive pay.
Assemble mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, schematics, and pneumatic diagrams.
Fit linear slides, gearboxes, and servo motors (experience preferred but not essential).
Work to health and safety standards within the production environment.
Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of Unison’s products.
Maintain a detail-oriented, problem-solving approach to machine assembly.
Work collaboratively within a team to meet production deadlines.
Fully skilled mechanical engineer with experience in a machine build environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to find solutions.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a team-oriented setting.
Level 3 qualification or higher in mechanical engineering (preferred).
Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship/visa requirements.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift.
Overtime: Regular overtime available.
