Mechanical Fitter

Job Overview

Unison Ltd is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the production team responsible for building all-electric tube bending machines. This role offers a supportive working environment, on-site parking, opportunities for further training and career development, and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, schematics, and pneumatic diagrams.

• Fit linear slides, gearboxes, and servo motors (experience preferred but not essential).

• Work to health and safety standards within the production environment.

• Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of Unison’s products.

• Maintain a detail-oriented, problem-solving approach to machine assembly.

• Work collaboratively within a team to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fully skilled mechanical engineer with experience in a machine build environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to find solutions.

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a team-oriented setting.

• Level 3 qualification or higher in mechanical engineering (preferred).

• Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship/visa requirements.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift.

• Overtime: Regular overtime available.
