We are looking for a dedicated and experienced leader to join our People Operations team as the Team Leader - People Hub (Benefits, Learning and Travel). This role is key to driving performance, continuous improvement, and delivering an exceptional colleague experience.
As the Team Leader - People Hub (Benefits, Learning and Travel), you will be accountable for driving performance and continuous improvement by overseeing the achievement of individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and work standards. You will play a key role in motivating and inspiring the HR support team, fostering high employee engagement, and minimising attrition.
This role reports to the People Operations Manager and sits within the People Operations directorate. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the People Team and the wider organisation to develop, coach, and train the HR support teams.
Day to day
- Drive the overall direction of the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in all aspects of HR services.
- Regularly review individual and team performance against key targets, providing timely feedback and addressing performance gaps through development plans.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate and streamline processes, ensuring the team is delivering seamless services to our customers and driving high levels of customer service through each customer interaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring the team is responsive to their needs and aligned with company-wide travel policies.
- Provide mentorship and support to ensure continuous personal and professional development of team members.
- Oversee the daily operation of the team, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently, including team coaching and development, and reviewing current processes and ways of working.
- Operate in the role as a Coordinator when needed, ensuring the team delivers exceptional results, maintains a high standard of service, and continuously improves to meet both company and colleague needs.
About you- CIPD or similar in human resources management or a related business field, or several years of experience working in an HR capacity, preferably in HR operations.
- Experience juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of our current employee benefits offering, including extensive knowledge of our Staff & Business Travel policies and processes.
- A broad knowledge of our suite of learning available to our People.
- Proven track record making process improvements.
- Experience in line managing or leading teams, with a strong management capability, including coaching and motivational skills.
- Proven track record of operational delivery, with strong commercial awareness and acumen.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and work confidently at all operational levels of the company.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be decisive and adaptable to change.
- Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving, with high administrative and literacy skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Results-focused and target-driven, with a strong customer focus and attention to detail and accuracy.
