Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)
Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.
Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).
The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).
- Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
- Attending planned and remedial maintenance tasks
- Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
- Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
- Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion
This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning, with some experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.
- CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
- Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
- Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
