Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who value their impact. Be part of a high-performing team doing critical work to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attend to planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
  • Use field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates

Candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and multitasking, with some experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
