Position

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Community Charge Nurse within District Nursing Team 9 Prestwick/Troon/Dundonald, covering Troon/Dundonald.

What you will do:

You will have experience working as a qualified registered Nurse and be responsible for the management of the caseload in the absence of the Clinical Team Leader, including the supervision and redeployment of staff. .

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

You must be educated to degree level. You should have a District Nurse post graduate or equivalent SPQ qualification or be willing to undertake relevant post graduate district nursing education.

You will be expected to work a rostered shift pattern weekdays with a weekend working commitment.
