About us

NOIC Academy is located in the city of Markham, Ontario, Canada. Being a full-time private boarding secondary school, NOIC Academy is co-inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education, the IBO, Pearson Edexcel, and Cambridge International Education. It has been offering the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) since 2004 and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) since 2015. About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced A-Level Further Mathematics teacher to join our online teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in advanced mathematics, a proven record of teaching A-Level content, and be comfortable using online education platforms to deliver interactive and effective instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver A-Level Further Mathematics courses in a fully online environment
• Teach live classes and provide academic support to students remotely
• Prepare high-quality lesson materials aligned with the A-Level curriculum
• Track student progress and provide timely feedback and assessments
• Maintain regular communication with students and school administrators

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of teaching experience in A-Level Further Mathematics
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field
• Strong familiarity with A-Level standards and exam formats
• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (e.g., ClassIn, Zoom, Google Classroom)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Independent and responsible work ethic in a virtual environment

Teaching Schedule:

Live classes may be scheduled at any time between 12:00 AM and 1:00 PM GMT. Candidates must have schedule flexibility to accommodate students across different time zones.
