A regional sports organization is looking for a dynamic Lead Officer to enhance local cricket. Responsibilities include leading strategic planning, compliance, and supporting the development team. Ideal candidates possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills, along with a good understanding of the cricketing landscape. This role demands effective communication and organizational capabilities, along with experience in budget management. Applications are invited until 12pm, 15th August 2025.
Suffolk Cricket Limited are looking to recruit a dynamic and motivating leader to support Suffolk Cricket Limited to shape and improve the local cricket landscape.This Lead Officer role, will mean they act as primary contact for the ECB, representing Suffolk. They’ll also oversee the successful implementation of the ECB Countywide Strategic Plan, completion of all CPA standards, as well as managing and support the Development Team.
We are seeking an individual who has good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong and sustainable working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In addition the candidate will have strong leadership and administration skills to support the role.
The successful applicant will ultimately lead on all matters relating to recreational cricket in Suffolk. They will be responsible for programme and financial decisions in partnership with the Board but will also work autonomously for significant periods of time.
