Infrastructure Support/Technical Team Manager

£40,000 - 48,000 GBP + 5% bonus

Are you an experienced people leader with a background in IT infrastructure support? This is a standout opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Managed Service Providers, delivering critical technology services to customers in the UK defence sector.

We're looking for someone who brings a people-first mindset, strong technical grounding across infrastructure technologies, and the confidence to lead high-performing teams in a dynamic, secure environment.

• Salary: Up to £48,000 depending on experience
• Bonus: Annual 5% performance bonus

• Proven people manager: You've successfully led technical teams, carried out performance reviews, and driven workflow improvements
• Strong communicator: Able to generate and present clear reports to senior stakeholders, with an eye for spotting areas of growth or process enhancement
• Technically proficient: Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies - Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange; exposure to virtualisation - VMware or equivalent; experience working with network devices - Cisco and/or Juniper; knowledge of Linux is a plus
• Certifications: ITIL v4 certification is desirable (or a willingness to gain this - fully sponsored by the company)
• Security Clearance: Active SC clearance required (or eligible to obtain) due to the nature of clients supported
