HSE OFFICER AND TRAINER - CONTRACT – SURREY

To be considered for the role, candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Our Client, an advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants, is currently looking for an experienced HSE Officer and Trainer to support a large pipeline project that will commence operations in May 2025. The role will be based in Surrey with travel onshore and offshore to Client’s and Sub Contractors worksites and is Outside IR35.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

1. Experience & Understanding of IMCA, IOGP, CDM & HSE ACOPS
2. Availability to support Incident Investigations at short notice.
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Packages, in particular Excel.
4. Retains an Innovative Mindset with a Proactive approach
5. Possesses the ability to Communicate to all Organisational Levels.
6. Self-Motivated and Proactive Individual that works well within a Team.
7. Interpersonal Skills, comfortable and confident with Delivering Training.
8. Conflict Management and handling challenging Situations

Qualifications:

1. Preferably worked for IMCA Contractor for a Minimum of 2 Years.
2. Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or Equivalent, Preferably NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent - (NVQ)

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To develop, organise and conduct Project, Corporate and Statutory HSE Training programs.
2. Lead Incident and Root Cause Analysis Investigations.
3. Execute the HSE Audit Plan and Manage Corrective Actions.
4. Perform HSE Coaching at the Worksite.
5. Delivery of Behavioural Safety Initiatives and Campaigns.
6. Responsible for the HSE Performance, Trend Analysis and Reporting.
7. Support the implementation of the Safe Systems of Work.
8. Execute the Project Risk Assessment Schedule.
9. Support Worksite HSE Readiness Processes.
10. Collate and Input HSE Data.
11. Procurement of HSE Items.

RATE: Please quote what limited company daily rate you would be looking for.

DURATION: Start in May 2025. Expected duration 2 years.

WORK PATTERN: Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days in the office in Surrey and 2 days can be working at home.
