Role: Medical Laboratories Risk and Health & Safety Manager

Location: London

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £70,000

A private laboratory is currently recruiting an experienced Medical Laboratories Risk and Health & Safety Manager to join their expanding team.

• Deputise for the Head of Governance as required.
• Ensure quality and risk management is embedded throughout the laboratory by providing support, advice, and guidance on all aspects of quality governance.
• Support the management of all complaints effectively and transparently in line with legislation, and disseminate learning from complaints across all areas.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, developing a system of quality assurance and monitoring.
• Provide professional and reliable Health and Safety advice at the operational level.
• Lead analysis of serious incidents.
• Implement ongoing assessment and development of the CQC standards, working closely with the Head of Governance and laboratory teams.
• Ensure internal and external compliance schemes are embedded and monitored within laboratories through close liaison with stakeholders.
• Extensive risk management and laboratory health and safety experience.
• Expert understanding of ISO15190 and ISO22367 standards.
