Position: Finance Business Partner (Distribution)

The Role:

This fixed-term/secondment opportunity is within the UK Finance Business Partnering team, supporting the Chief Distribution Officer and Chief Marketing Officer to drive profitable growth across the UK. It offers a gateway for a qualified accountant (Big 4 trained or equivalent) to join a dynamic, fast-paced, and commercially focused environment with career progression opportunities and senior stakeholder engagement.

You will work closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner, deputizing as needed. If you're ambitious and eager to influence commercial decisions, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner with the Distribution function, providing financial insights and collaborating with stakeholders.
2. Manage the monthly financial reports for the Distribution management team and ensure accountability for performance-improving actions.
3. Evaluate financial business cases for Distribution projects and understand project accounting.
4. Oversee the financial planning and reforecasts for Distribution, implementing driver-based planning.
5. Analyze the monthly distribution expense performance, including headcount management.
6. Monitor market insights, risks, and opportunities, proposing solutions where appropriate.

• Relevant professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

• Structured analysis skills with the ability to derive insights from data
• Effective communication of complex financial issues to varied audiences
• Initiative, ownership, and drive to standardize and automate processes

Nice to Haves:

• Understanding of Insurance Distribution functions
• Experience in general insurance sector and products
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Familiarity with Oracle platform
