Assistant Finance Business Partner - Hybrid | Great Culture & Benefits | Southport

We're offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and analytically minded Assistant Finance Business Partner to support the financial review and analysis of the business - with a particular focus on management accounts support for our Personal Injury legal teams.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you'll provide insightful analysis and recommendations to help improve financial performance and drive efficiencies across the organisation. This is a key role for someone currently studying towards an accounting qualification, who brings, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The role would be ideal for someone currently studying towards an AAT qualification or someone who is looking to begin their journey in accountancy.

Main Responsibilities:
- To work closely with and provide support to the Finance Business Partner, assisting multiple teams by providing analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiencies wherever possible across the organisation.
- To assist in the responsibility of managing on-going pieces of work in a finance capacity, providing support to Directors, whilst monitoring performance against financial projections.
- Management accounts preparation and providing financial support to cost centres within Fletchers by reviewing monthly spend, identifying potential savings and supporting the Finance Business Partner when setting annual budgets.
- Provide financial support to ad-hoc requests across the business as and when required
- Analysis and interpretation of data
Essential Skills and Experience:- Currently studying towards an accounting qualification
- Management accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS and pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Ability to work at pace
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills and Experience:- Experience in the Legal sector
- Use of a case management system
- Commercial experience
