Job Description:

The Finance Business Partner is a new role within The Wilf Ward Family Trust, created to support the Trust’s future growth and strategic direction. This role requires tenacity and leadership to deliver on financial strategies by setting priorities, supporting projects, and focusing on sustainability.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to transforming lives through outstanding support and strategic aims. You will work with colleagues across Operations, Quality, and Digital teams to manage a diverse financial portfolio, including supported living, residential services, and offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement projects related to financial reporting, controls, performance management, procurement, policies, and procedures.
  • Support Directors and Managers with operational advice on budget management, financial analysis, management information, and digital transformation using a business partnering approach.
  • Assist in implementing systems such as finance software, roster management, and digital self-service solutions.
  • Provide leadership within the Finance Team and oversee daily operations in your areas of responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or actively working towards qualification.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Experience as a Finance Business Partner is desirable but not essential; significant knowledge of financial and management accounting is required.

Additional Requirements: A full driving license is essential due to travel requirements across Yorkshire, with regional offices in Thirsk, York, Scarborough, and Boothferry. A car allowance is provided.
