Reporting to the MD and a part of the leadership team you will be a business development legend in your heart but be ready to grow through leadership, hard work and structural implementation.

You will be responsible for developing strategy and driving double digit new business growth on an annual basis.

The Sales Director is responsible for defining and executing appropriate sales and marketing strategies; business development, technical, advertising operations and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability. It is the responsibility of the Head of Sales and Marketing to collaborate, lead, develop and influence the revenue streams and to deliver sales and marketing strategies which delivers growth, profitability across the Group

What you will do at Justrite
  • Lead, manage, and grow sales in the European & ROW region to meet and exceed company objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to support the company's long-term growth.
  • Establish and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Operations Teams to achieve target EBITDAs.
  • Provide strategic direction and effective leadership to the Sales Team (both inside and outside sales).
  • Deliver monthly sales performance reports and manage the sales funnel effectively.
  • Travel as required (up to 50%) to meet customers, attend trade shows and participate in company meetings.
  • Provide strategic and tactical recommendations to enhance the delivery of financial performance through the development of new business opportunities.
  • Experience of managing professional internal and external stakeholder and supplier relationships at a strategic level.
  • Contributes to the development of the Group short- and long-term business plan and strategic goals.
  • Responsible for and lead on the development of all revenue streams, sales, and goals.
  • Understands the competitive landscape and market trends and effectively communicates value proposition, USPs, and the company values with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support and develop the sales team to drive sales growth to maximise ongoing growth and new business development opportunities.
  • Works with relevant stakeholders to develop pricing strategies to maximise profits and market share whilst balancing customer satisfaction.
  • Possess knowledge in how to maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price and understand current supply, demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
  • Contribute to finance planning to define annual sales forecasting, budgets, objectives and KPIs.
  • Analyse sales pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting on revenue and marketing to provide key business insights.
  • Lead and manage a multi-channel marketing strategy across the business to maximise ongoing and new development opportunities.
  • Be responsible for the delivery of the social media aspects of the marketing strategy and content marketing.
  • Identify innovative and new marketing opportunities for the group.
  • Accountable for competitor research, communicating and applying the insight to the overall strategy.
  • Lead and co-ordinate the management of marketing campaigns ensuring they follow a clear process, are measured, and reviewed and reported on using the appropriate metrics; ROI’s, activity and spend.
  • Providing leadership, direction, and management, coaching and mentoring to direct reports.
  • Develop and ensure a team approach embedding the company core values.
  • Provides leadership and management guidance and be a role model to ensure a high level of customer service throughout every aspect of the business.
  • Manage the recruitment, onboarding and the operational and daily performance of your team, ensuring direct reports are held accountable for their standard of performance within their area of the business.
  • Develop a high-performance talent pipeline with robust succession plan to ensure resource is performing as required to meet and exceed strategic goals.
  • Encourage healthy collaboration between team and team members in other functions such as Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Establishing appropriate mechanisms and interventions with Direct Reports to review performance against Goals and set focus areas for forthcoming month/ year
Your skills and expertise
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working at a management level in Sales (ideally with synergy and understanding of the marketing function)
  • MBA or qualification in international business, economics, engineering, management or equivalent industry experience
  • Language skills desirable
  • A proven track record working in an SME and being able to communicate your growth successes.
  • Experience of meeting and exceeding challenging sales targets - implementing targets and KPIs and managing them
  • Experience in identifying new markets, penetrating new markets and building new accounts through business development and marketing techniques.
  • Proven track record in working with and alongside Marketing including social media, marketing campaigns, market, and competitor research.
  • Proven track record in building a brand, brand loyalty and brand awareness within a customer/industry base.
  • Proven track record with CRM systems.
  • Experience in line management and getting the best from teams through modern man management and motivation.
