Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Head of Commercial to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Operations Director to identify and maximise opportunities by working with the people we support, their families, commissioners, operations, and community hub team members.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with Commissioners, Local Authorities, ICBs, and Housing Associations (in partnership with the Housing Manager).
• Collaborate with the Heads of Areas and Assessment and Placement Managers to achieve 95%+ occupancy and eliminate long-term voids.
• Work with the Head of Pricing, Senior Pricing, Data Partner, and Home Managers to ensure Care Needs Assessments are completed accurately and timely for fee negotiations.
• Coordinate with the Head of Pricing and Finance Business Partner to ensure placements are sustainably priced, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality and safety.
• Oversee the operational delivery of new developments, ensuring they are completed on time and align with the approved business case.
• Identify opportunities for growth through new developments in collaboration with the Head of New Developments.
• Assess and transform homes requiring repurposing or redesigning in partnership with relevant teams.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in commercial roles, preferably within Social Care or similar sectors.
• A proven track record of driving growth and expansion.
• Strong skills in sales and business development.
• Strategic thinking with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
