The Business Services and Outsourcing team are essential to meeting our clients' evolving needs. They deliver long-term value through accounting, payroll, and compliance services, and connect various services across BDO domestically and internationally. Building meaningful relationships with clients ranging from SMEs to multinational groups, our BS&O team advise on specific challenges and facilitate access to our wider service offerings. Overview

• As a Consultant in our Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS) team, you will work closely with clients, supporting the timely delivery of accounting and consultancy services.
• You will operate independently and be responsible for delivering specific projects as if you were a permanent member of the client’s finance team. You should have a rounded business knowledge to analyze client data, make recommendations, and discuss issues such as trading positions, outlooks, and legislative changes.

Experience and professional qualifications:

• Industry or practice qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or equivalent experience
• Solid accounting knowledge with experience in accounts preparation and outsourced accounting
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Familiarity with corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, and company secretarial procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard in-house packages
• Experience with accounting software and willingness to learn new systems
