A leading automotive and energy company in Mérignac, France is seeking an experienced FMEA Program Manager to own the FMEA program across global manufacturing sites. This role requires over 10 years of manufacturing experience, strong skills in risk assessment, and the ability to communicate effectively across levels. You will lead cross-functional teams, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure the adoption of best practices throughout the Cell ecosystem. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for systematic problem-solving are essential.

What To Expect
Battery Cells are the common denominator for every Tesla product. Our product requirements demand ground-up cell architectures with state-of-the-art performance, manufactured at volumes that are orders of magnitude higher than the products they power. You will work alongside seasoned industry experts, high aptitude recent graduates, and people from every stage in between.
What You'll Do
Own the FMEA program across all global Tesla Cell Manufacturing factories/sites.
Lead risk assessment from the initial development of DFMEA for new designs thru to sustaining PFMEAs in high volume production.
Improve all elements of the FMEA system from business strategy to day-to-day activities.
Establish KPIs to track implementation, drive continuous risk reduction, and report progress to Sr/Exec leadership.
Define and propose risk mitigation projects for all levels of the organization, including working with factory teams to drive/implement solutions on the manufacturing floor.
Ensure universal adoption of best practices across the Cell ecosystem, incorporating Lessons Learned for each iteration of design.
Lead and facilitate cross functional risk assessment meeting with design, quality, manufacturing, materials, and process engineering teams.
Mentor, upskill, and develop FMEA team to support each geographical location.
What You'll Bring
10+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
BS in a technical discipline and evidence of exceptional experience.
Proven track record of quantifying risk and implementing mitigation strategies with tangible results.
Experience working with lithium-ion cells or high reliability products like medical or aerospace is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to convince stakeholders of the value of risk assessment.
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions.
Experience working with well-established quality standards. E.g., ISO, ASTM, AIAG.
Passion for systematic problem-solving using systems.
Detail oriented, with the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
Can demonstrate ability to meet deadlines and perform under high pressure.
Fluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
