Job description
Tasks
- Creation of test orders for civil flight tests, taking into account requirements, efficiency and risk minimisation
- Definition of suitable measuring points and measuring procedures with regard to test requirements, data evaluation and certification capability
- Support in the practical execution of flight tests and in the preparation of test systems
- Takeover of telemetry management for flight range extensions and flight safety-critical tests
- Analysis and evaluation of flight test results including interpretation of relevant measurement data
- Preparation of technical verification documents and test reports in English
- Presentation and defence of test results to internal departments, external partners and certification authorities such as EASA
- Participation in flight tests at home and abroad as part of development and certification programmes
Requirements
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, engineering, aerospace or a comparable further education with a subject-specific additional qualification and extensive practical experience
- Several years of professional experience in the engineering environment as well as sound knowledge of measurement technology, especially in the field of flight loads and vibrations in helicopters
- Extensive practical experience in avionics and data processing is required
- Sound knowledge of flight test and measurement technology as well as very good engineering mathematical skills required
- Experience in the field of aircraft certification is desirable
- Very good IT user knowledge and programming skills required, Python knowledge is an advantage as well as very good expertise with MS Office and sound experience in using technical tools for data analysis
- Business fluent German and English (min. C1 level) required
- Radiotelephony certificate for the aeronautical radio service is an advantage
- Existing, unrestricted work permit for the EU
