Job Description
Our client is one of the fastest growing companies in the power semiconductor industry. They are urgently looking to fill the newly created Sales Director position in Germany.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A university degree in engineering
- 5+ years of experience in business development, technical marketing, sales, and/or pre-sales in the semiconductor or power electronics industry
- Fluent in English and German
- Strong connections in the market, especially with major automotive manufacturers
- Proven understanding of semiconductor products and solutions, with the ability to deliver high-level presentations at events such as user groups, seminars, webinars, and conferences
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Target new customer engagements within specified market segments and generate product design wins
- Present the company’s applications and product advantages to customers, acting as the primary sales interface for multiple accounts regionally
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage current business, proactively generate quotes, and maintain customer relationships
- Engage with customers outside the sales team to identify technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can lead to business opportunities
- Communicate both business and technical concepts at C-level
- Study new concepts and architectures to leverage new technologies, including advanced drive schemes
- Understand application needs and end-usage of semiconductor switches
- Assess customer technical requirements and design issues, providing guidance accordingly
- Coordinate with R&D and Sales to incorporate customer feedback into product development

- Develop portfolio strategies based on market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape
