Our Data Science team enables the company to make data-driven decisions based on complex data. As an important team member,you‘ll improve our data product landscape by experimenting, deploying and testing innovative ideastodriveourbusiness.

(Senior) Data Scientist (m/f/d)

Location: remote, Germany; remote, Spain

Your responsibilities

• Conduct experimentation and prototyping on new initiatives, setting the stage for subsequent Data projects.
• Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models in Python to innovate and enhance processes and products (utilizing tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, CatBoost, LightGBM).
• Guide stakeholdersthroughdiscoveries and discussions in data-relatedfields.
• Perform complexdataanalysis and experimentation, providingactionableinsightstobusinessstakeholders, includingleveragingGenAI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to team methodologies and technical tools.

Your Qualifications

• A master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field, such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or economics.
• Extensive experience in the end-to-end development of Data Science projects, particularly in the eCommerce sector.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and possess strong data science fundamentals, including modeling, data structures, and visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of software development and related tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with software development tools and environments (e.g., Git, Docker, Azure, AWS).
• A proactive, problem-solving, and analytical mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
