StrategyCorp Toronto is looking for experienced Communications Consultants to join our growing team.

StrategyCorp is a consulting firm focussed on delivering integrated government relations, strategic communications, and management consulting strategies. From its offices in Toronto and Ottawa, StrategyCorp services clients across Canada and around the world.

Our ideal candidates have varying degrees of experience as a communications professional ranging from 1 – 4 years of experience. Regardless of how long you have been in the business all candidates must share our passion for delving into complex issues that require strategic thinking, problem solving, and have a good understanding of communications tools and best practices.

• 1 – 4 years of work experience in a communications role – Agency experience is preferred
• Undergraduate degree
• Experience playing a role in developing and executing strategic communications plans for organizations involving owned, earned, shared, and paid media components
• Experience supporting projects and working to ensure internal and external deadlines are met
• Excellent writing with superior attention to detail – particularly taking complex subjects and issues, and relaying them in clear and concise ways that are tailored to specific audiences
• Critical and strategic thinking skills, and aptitude for problem solving
• Proven track record of managing complex client relationships
• Ability to work flexibly, often to tight deadlines
• Exemplary customer service skills, including dealing effectively with clients, colleagues and vendors
• Ability to organize own work, coordinate projects and set priorities with minimum direction
• Self-starter who takes initiative and has sound, independent judgment
• Understanding of the Canadian news media market, inclusive of print, broadcast, and digital outlets
• Fluency in the use of shared media platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok) in communications strategies
• Core math skills are an asset
• French language proficiency is an asset
• Public Relations training in a formal program is an asset
