A local school district in Canada is seeking enthusiastic Childcare Educators to join their Before and After School Care programs. Successful applicants will foster creativity and engagement in school-aged children, contribute to a play-based learning environment, and ensure the safety of students. Are you passionate about creating joyful, engaging, and meaningful experiences for school-aged children? Our district’s licensed Before and After School Care (BASC) programs are growing, and we’re looking for caring, energetic Childcare Educators to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a play-based environment, enjoys fostering children’s curiosity, and can work both independently and collaboratively to support a high‑quality childcare program.
Under the direction of the District Principal Teaching and Learning Early Years to Grade 12 and Childcare Manager, or designate, the Childcare Educator will be responsible for supervision and assistance to students in a childcare setting in district Before and After School Care (BASC) programs. This role leads engaging, child‑centred care and activities for school‑aged children in a licensed childcare setting.
