WHAT’S THE JOB?

This competitive project-based position is primarily located in Nunavut, with flexibility to work from home and occasional travel to other projects. The Project Manager is a strategic builder and change agent responsible for leading multiple remote hospitality sites. This role designs and implements scalable systems, drives performance improvement, and ensures alignment with corporate, regional, and client standards. The PM leads cross-functional teams, builds operational frameworks, and fosters a culture of innovation and accountability. Success is measured through system effectiveness, KPI achievement, and the ability to lead projects that enhance service delivery, workforce engagement, and financial outcomes.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in hospitality or remote site management, with strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, challenging environments. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive management experience in hospitality or remote camp operations, including oversight of catering, housekeeping, janitorial, and maintenance services.
Education: Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, facilities/operations management, or related field. Trades or technical certifications are an asset.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with hospitality or facility management software.
Financial & Operational Acumen: Proven ability to analyze budgets, forecasts, and schedules to optimize service delivery and control costs.
Remote Operations Expertise: Adaptable, resourceful, and experienced in the unique challenges of remote northern environments, including occasional travel to multiple sites.
