Job summary

A major North American airline in Winnipeg is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support HR and Payroll teams. The role involves specialized payroll functions, financial data analysis, and providing support to staff. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and knowledge of PeopleSoft systems. A PCP or PLP certification is an asset, and the ability to work independently is essential. The airline values diversity and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.

Qualifications

  • Completion of PCP and/or PLP payroll certification considered an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required.
  • Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft HR/Payroll preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform specialized payroll functions in support of Payroll management.
  • Analyze financial data for the Payroll department and the Operation.
  • Provide Payroll staff with first line support for PeopleSoft.
